Are you comparing the impact mass farming cattle to that of free-ranging large herbivores?
Because if you are doing it in good faith, I am sad to inform you the difference in number of individuals is an order of magnitude.
- jonnycomputer 4y agoWe have about 91 million cattle in the United States (including calves). The buffalo herd was historically between 22 and 88 million. Currently we have about 30 million white-tailed deer. I strong suspect that historical numbers were at least as high. I think you are overstating the case.
