    This is unquestionably the only concrete value I can see. There’s some marginal image search data improvements, the potential to nuke it and improve image search results a million fold, and some other things like that. But the only thing that makes it intrinsically valuable is definitely the databases of information about the images.

  The biggest pinterest asset is founder who is an ex googler and had enough connections to secure it from being banned from google for seo gaming and hijacking whole images category.
