If you freeze it, that doesn't happen (can get freezer burn but that's a different issue). Freezing a uncut loaf makes it very difficult to consume.

- barbazoo 4y agoTrue, I do freeze toast but I would never do that to a nice loaf of sourdough for instance and then I wouldn't slice it usually, for the stated reasons.
