Fatty foods are good. No one sits around with a spoon eating butter. Just don't pair high fat with high carbs; that combo leads to over-eating everytime.

- melony 4y agoSteaks for every meal sounds like an ideal, if not pricey, diet.
- isthisthingon99 4y agoI moved to the middle of nowhere-ish, where there is zero food delivery (except Amazon). I've been eating steak for dinner for a long time, and yes it's expensive. But I feel great, and I lost weight.
- WastingMyTime89 4y agoExtremely non environmental friendly however. Beef should be a treat.
- worik 4y agoIt depends where you live. Where I live pastoral farming is much easier than cropping, so beef and lamb are good choice. But I live in hill country. On the plains it is not so. (Sorry George Monbiot, you twit, agricultural land is not fungible)
- WastingMyTime89 4y agoPastoral farming doesn't magically make the methane these cows release disappear.
- jonnycomputer 4y agoA lot of ecosystems evolved in the context of large herbivores, including various kinds of cattle-related species. Global warming is not the only ecological concern.
- WastingMyTime89 4y agoAre you comparing the impact mass farming cattle to that of free-ranging large herbivores? Because if you are doing it in good faith, I am sad to inform you the difference in number of individuals is an order of magnitude.
- jonnycomputer 4y agoWe have about 91 million cattle in the United States (including calves). The buffalo herd was historically between 22 and 88 million. Currently we have about 30 million white-tailed deer. I strong suspect that historical numbers were at least as high. I think you are overstating the case.
- astrange 4y ago> No one sits around with a spoon eating butter. Tibetans do: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butter_tea https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butter_tea Californians, who love pretending to be Tibetan, call it bulletproof coffee.
- SnowHill9902 4y agoI do and it’s quite healthy. Also cream.
