I have a pet project I'd like to make with this, but one piece of data I'd be missing is a measure/identifier for "important"/"newsworthy" bills. Clearly this is subjective, but I'd be open to most interpretations. Any suggestions for where I might find this?
- blackboxlogic 4y ago1) Scrape a news source and check how many times the bill is mentioned? 2) How many results on a search engine for the bill's title? 3) Train something similar to sentiment analysis model based on the text content of the bill. You'd need historical data for that but see options 1 and 2.
