How does this guy's low quality blog repeatedly make it to the front page?

  Seriously, how do you determine that his blog is low quality? Disregarding your insult, your question is an interesting one. If someone could bottle the answer, they would have all the freedom they needed.

    I'm not interested in insulting the author, who's probably a nice guy. But I've been conditioned to expect very little content when I click on a link and his picture pops up, so I'm just wondering what the deal is.
