I saw that line as a distraction from the larger point the author was trying make. There are many capitalists who view this any act of censorship as foolhardy and destructive. Among laissez faire the whole IP debate is not at all settled. For the record I am a staunch capitalist and I see SOPA, the MPAA/RIAA, and censorship in general as reprehensible.
