    Absolute hogwash. If it was a strain it was because swearing in ministers is real work, a lot of it, and she is 96 years old.

    Hardly, she’s had to smile at a procession of increasingly less capable prime ministers for decades. She was well used to this. Not getting a real day off for 73 years probably had more to do with it. Or, you know, just being 96.

  Literally accepted Boris Johnson's resignation and offered the job to Liz Truss 2 days ago. She was holding on to get rid of him.
