Box out competition. The title is misleading. The filing doesn’t say Apple will “use” 85%. The actual filing says “Allocate 85% of its current and future network capacity to support the Services (see further discussion of capacity below)” This could simply be that Apple is buying up the bulk of the capacity to box out competitors from offering same functionality. Just like what they do with TSMC.
