I imagine you'll have the option to still have a password, for those that aren't concerned about Apple lock it'll be a nice benefit.

- Spivak 4y agoNo? At least not for convenience. On my phone, instant login, anywhere else, enter password.
- derefr 4y agoThe point of passkeys isn't convenience (that's what things like TouchID/FaceID are for); the point is to make phishing, brute-forcing, and credential stuffing all irrelevant. Having a "backup" password removes every one of those benefits.
