- dougmwne 4y agoThere are so many small carriers out there that resell data from partner networks. Often one of these MVNOs can be the best deal to pick up a few dozen gigs of local data that support hotspot. Many may not even have an app, stores or much customer support infrastructure. They sell these in kiosks and cigarette shops all over the world. THese carriers will not be supporting a sim-less phone any time soon and it hurts any frequent traveler to lose access to them.
- wilsonnb3 4y agoOnly the US models have no SIM slot but yes, US iPhones will not be usable without an esim.
