Ten Questions About The-Hard Limits of Human Intelligence
- PaulHoule 4y agoSome of the limits of human intelligence could be limits of intelligence, period. Mathematically there is a continent of linear problems that are easy to solve, then some islands of other problems that have exact solutions and a large ocean in which there are no exact solutions. Close to the islands various forms of approximation are workable but get out in the ocean and you are lost. Results by Gödel, Turing and others show there are hard limits to computation. No kind of "smarts" can circumvent these.
