Option 2 is what just passed with the IRA. Nearly 4.5b in rebates for things like heat pumps, electric stoves, upgraded electrical and insulation. [1] I imagine we'll be seeing a lot more mailers ad sales folks next year crawling middle and lower income neighborhoods selling packages that take full advantages of these credits.
