I've been using Bruce Schneier's Password Safe for years - very happy with it. I was recently looking at KeePass. I've dug into the comparison a little bit, but I'd be interested to hear this community's take on KeePass vs. PasswordSafe.
- timbit42 4y agoI've used PasswordSafe for some years. My only complaint is I'd like a way to access the user, pass and notes in a view-only mode without editing so I don't accidentally trash something. I switched to KeePassXC on one of my laptops and it seems OK but requires more clicking to access and autotype a username and password. I haven't switched on any other devices. Still undecided.
