i agree with this 100%. Anything else is protectionist claptrap that makes zero economic sense. The funny thing about these (counter) arguments (to the above) is that despite all of their blabbering is that this will just happen anyway. Companies will make the investments that they deem justified (in robots, for example) and everything will (eventually) adjust to whatever that specific reality brings (e.g. birth rates, re-education, taxes, etc, etc). Most of what anyone ever hears is generally governed by who's trying to win the next election.
