I had the same experience with a AR-750s. The GL-iNet OpenWRT image with its fancy web UI had a lot of small bugs and required some reboot from time to time to be working properly. I completely resolved the issue by flashing the mainline OpenWRT image from openwrt.org. It has been working pretty well ever since.
