With 80MHz channels configured (160Mhz are possible, but I do not need/want that) on the 5GHz band, I can get about 480Mbps TCP bandwidth over the air using iperf3. Client is a laptop with Intel Wireless 8260 running GNU/Linux. Reports on the OpenWrt forums I've seen range up to ~800Mbps.
