  The free source is supplemented or complemented by open source for a reason. This debate should be much documented than for the future kids to guess from posting in web archive and book hard to get.

  I'd like to know the thoughts of Stallman on Smalltalk. Curious to know what were the odds for an alternative timeline where the free software movement released a competitive open source Smalltalk back in the 80s.
