Most my nannies have been high school seniors with half days. Out of the 5 Nannie’s, 3 have gone on to graduate from a 4 year college, and one just finished her associates. One is now a nurse and another is starting med school next year. The job is low stress. My kids are easy. We ask the Nannie’s to do nothing but supervise the kids doing their chores (basically loading/unloading the dishwasher and tending to the dogs), drive, and help the kids with their homework (I don’t think the kids have needed help in the last 2 years). Most of them play board games with the kids after homework/chores are done. Something to keep the kids off screens. Most of this is done while the Nannie’s are working on their own homework.
