- seomint 4y agoSmart thermostats not so smart consumers. Pretty sure all this was spelled out in the terms of service if anyone complaining about this bothered to read it. Hey, my car won't start because of the gas shortage. My refrigerator won't open because of the food shortage. My front door won't open because I'm late on my mortgage. Looking forward to the analog counter-revolution.
- vineyardmike 4y agoIt’s an opt-in program where people got paid to opt-in. Voluntarily being paid to use less power when the grid is under stress seems a bit different from being locked out of your house.
