The “Energy Transition” Delusion: A Reality Reset
- r721 4y ago>Mark P. Mills So I googled "Mark P. Mills fossil fuel" for fun and ... >Mills himself is not necessarily a reliable source on renewable power, as he's been heavily involved in companies focused on nuclear power and fossil fuel extraction. Mills has also spoken at the climate meeting hosted by the notorious trolls at the Heartland Institute. https://arstechnica.com/science/2021/03/is-there-a-shift-from-disbelieving-climate-change-to-attacking-renewables/ https://arstechnica.com/science/2021/03/is-there-a-shift-fro... (2021) >The Manhattan Institute, a New York City-based think tank, received $75,000 from ExxonMobil last year for its Center for Energy Policy. Since 1998, the company has given the libertarian policy shop more than $1.3 million ... Still another Manhattan Institute senior fellow, Mark P. Mills, wrote an opinion piece for The Wall Street Journal in May titled “What if Green Energy Isn’t the Future?” https://blog.ucsusa.org/elliott-negin/exxonmobil-still-bankrolling-climate-deniers/ https://blog.ucsusa.org/elliott-negin/exxonmobil-still-bankr... We obviously cannot do that if we want to continue living on planet which supports human civilization, so - if this guy is correct - energy prices must rise. What else is there?
