"vaccine effectiveness (VE) was 61% for two doses against COVID-19-associated hospitalizations; VE increased to between 85%–92% after receipt of a third/booster dose."
"COVID-19 vaccines remain our single most important tool to protect people against serious illness, hospitalization, and death."
- unnamed76ri 4y agoThey literally told us we wouldn’t even get sick if we got the vaccine. What other vaccine requires endless boosters and you still get sick?

- beebmam 4y agoAgainst the variants at the time: the mRNA vaccines were highly effective against symptomatic infection for those variants. The virus mutated, and the messaging did as well. It was very clear from virtually every source I saw that Omicron deeply evaded vaccine immunity for symptomatic infection. It's not their fault that you willfully misunderstand this.

- jodrellblank 4y agoDid they.
