I consumed this article and yet it still exists, unchanged, so I don’t think this swap has any real epistemological effect beyond diluting “destroy.”
- Yaa101 4y agoNo, you read this article. Reading is a non destructive act. Consuming is also not always destroying things, like in eating, it merely changes food into fertilizer and minerals when you poop. I think naming things in an absolute way will not help us, just like forbidding things wont, we have to learn to change behavior instead of stopping behavior.
