  Most FinTech businesses are obliged to undertake KYC procedures, so yes, identity theft is a problem that private business are commonly expected to solve, and it should also be the responsibility of any platform like OF. They are, in a sense, a FinTech company after all.

    If someone stole my identity, I’d have bigger things to worry about. About the particular situation you’re describing—wouldn’t care, as I would have full deniability.
