Why are social media and forums becoming annoying?
- gregjor 4y ago“Annoying” doesn’t describe a quality of social media and forums. It describes an emotional reaction to reading and participating in them. If you find social media annoying don’t use it. Or learn how to ignore the things that annoy you.

- dazc 4y agoA lot of forums seem to have gone the same way where volunteer moderators start running the show and sideline/sensor anyone who doesn't agree with thier views. HN benefits from having a paid moderator who doesn't participate in general discussions.
