How would you find an equity investment firm that is interested?

  Updated my post to clarify that I meant private equity firms. In my case, I have them reaching out due to visibility of my company / project in space of high interest. But I’m sure there are sites / services that play matchmaking. Just be warned that it can be a total waste of time having conversations with junior analysts of such firms - they mostly harvest information for the partners.
