10.10 has been eol for five years without security updates. How long should downstream tools support an eol OS?
- skybrian 4y agoI'd guess CMake supports it just because they haven't seen a reason to require a newer version yet. Command line tools are like that. (The Go SDK requires 10.13.) That's the difference between what people can do for individual tools versus an entire ecosystem like Brew that's trying to do everything.
