M2 MBP wakes itself enough to show the battery meter all the time when an external mouse is connected. I have to unplug the mouse to stop it bleeping and bloop

M2 MBP wakes itself enough to show the battery meter all the time when an external mouse is connected. I have to unplug the mouse to stop it bleeping and blooping every 5 to 30 seconds throughout the night. Mouse is a Logitech "gaming" mouse.
