I'm not sure how what I wrote sounds like that, because if I wanted to write that, I would have. It's a lot simpler, for one. It's a difficult concept, rhetorical charity, especially in today's climate of flinging the most reprehensible accusation in our repertoire at the slightest provocation. As I said before, a lot of the excesses of "wokeness" is projected overcompensation for private shame about bigoted feelings.
