It's great to see someone saying the exact thing I've innately understood but couldn't put into words :) This is something I now ask when I try out for jobs in Fraud teams. If my hiring manager expects me to bring fraud down to zero, I immediately know that this work relationship may not work because we would be on completely different pages on how some fraud losses are the necessary cost of running a business.
