Ending support for legacy academic publishing
- austinjp 4y agoIs there a single movement that rallies scientists and researchers who are dissatisfied with the state of academic publishing? There are occasional posts like this on HN: individuals who declare academic publishing to be bust, and who are working on alternatives and solutions. Has a single organisation emerged to coordinate efforts? Maybe that would be counterproductive, but still. I'm curious.
