- eru 4y agoI hope you ain't serious?
- Filligree 4y agoWell, they can't possibly make it worse.
- capableweb 4y agoWhy not? Regulations should help protect consumers make informed choices when purchasing things. Currently, USB + manufacturers are purposefully making it confusing to purchase cables because they want more cash, in exchange for making the experience worse for consumers. Sound like exactly the right place for some new regulation.
- eru 4y ago> Regulations should help protect consumers make informed choices when purchasing things. Why? And at what cost? Have you heard of cost/benefit analysis?
- jeroenhd 4y agoThis isn't the name of the USB spec, it's the name that someone noticed a random manufacturer used. The new name will follow the common pattern, or "USB4 120Gbps".
