To (probabl mis) quote the Economist magazine, when adjusted for other variables the gender pay gap disappears.
- nulbyte 4y agoWhat are those other variables? They could point to other problems. For example, if adjusting for experience eliminates the gap, wages might be driven down for a group of folks due to a lack of opportunities to gain that experience.
- schemester 4y agoHours worked, career selection. In short there is no arbitrage to be found and employers aren’t leaving money on the table.
