I'm not particularly familiar with the style of financial analysis they're doing in the study, but the authors claim the methods and variables they are using are standard and well-understood, and their numerical results seem to support the study's conclusion pretty well, at least to this layperson's eyes. I'd be interested to know what I'm missing in terms of the study's weaknesses, either in terms of statistical methods, or other limitations not discussed by the authors.
