I wouldn't use EBS. Instance storage is much more consistent, in terms of latency and performance.

- jaylevitt 15y agoI didn't realize that; in fact, I thought I saw something that claimed the opposite. It'd be great to see someone write up a HOWTO for WAL-E and PG9 replication on ephemeral stores in EC2.
