I'm one of the olds, but I wish Instagram would just go back to simple photo sharing with friends. No video, no sponsored posts, no ranking algorithm, just show me what my friends are up to, damn it!

- criddell 4y agoSame here. The addition of Reels and how hard they push it is really annoying. If I wanted to use Tik Tok, I would use Tik Tok. I'm on Instagram because I want to use Instagram.
- acomjean 4y agoMe too. Its interesting, I work with a group of visual artists (about 300). Instagram was by far the most popular way for them to share what they were working on. It seems like it was perfect for that sort of thing, but now it feels like its not sure what it wants to be (stories, and reels and ...)
