There's still a lot of interest in the retro computing community - keropi and marmes (http://pcmidi.eu http://pcmidi.eu) have built a few cards, including what many view as an ultimate retro sound card, the Orpheus, which uses some OG components such as the YMF289B OPL3 and has wavetable daughterboard expandability. While it's new, it's true to the character and spirit of the 1990's cards, with the benefit of modern manufacturing and better quality components than Creative were using at the time. Looking forward to the Orpheus II! https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=88957 https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=88957
