From the article I found this link: https://firewalltimes.com/twitter-data-breach-timeline/ https://firewalltimes.com/twitter-data-breach-timeline/ I would argue that it really doesn't matter if Twitter is worse than most other companies, the problem is that none of these companies should be operating with such poor (non-existent) standards. Especially when they have as much data as Twitter. I personally "protect" my tweets so that others, like my employer, cannot see them. There are many more people with so much more sensitive information that are trusting in this system.
