I used to love MIDI's and was always excited to run my whole collection through any new sound card. Of course, the best option was to run MIDI out to my Yamaha keyboard and play everything through that. It's still fun today, 25-30 years later, to crack open in a 90's MIDI in a DAW and route the channel outs through virtual instruments to see how they sound.
