SEEKING WORK | Glasgow, Scotland/UK, remote I am a software engineer skilled in cloud, processes, data and workflows. I have eight years of experience in a range of settings. I can help small to mid-sized companies streamline business workflows and improve data processing. I enjoy setting up automation that reduces people's toil and helps them do their computer-based work more efficiently, but can also do more technical work, like setting up cloud compute, optimising workflows for throughput, improving resource use of individual tasks, or debugging problems. I would also be happy to discuss data science projects. I have a Masters degree in mathematics and a multidisciplinary background with experience in computer science, biology, and genomics. I have spent a number of years in academia, where I managed very large amounts of compute in cluster environments, collaborated on open source software in complex problem domains, and published research papers. Technologies: Perl, Unix, Bash, Python, Java, GNU Make, Nextflow, Snakemake, R, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, AWS Lambda, Serverless, OpenSearch, and more CV: https://wbazant.github.io/wojciech_bazant_cv.pdf https://wbazant.github.io/wojciech_bazant_cv.pdf Email: wojciech.bazant@gmail.com
