Can I hate everybody involved in this story? I mean she's trying to blame her husband's cancer, his lack of treatment, and subsequent death on the College. Dude could have done his chemo. Claiming that he didn't want to appear weak so he wouldn't have gotten a sympathy judgment. That just reeks of spin.
