I received a product I had paid $400 for, that did not have a YKK zipper: the zipper was already compromised by the time I received it. it caused me to look more closely at the materials and workmanship: * extremely cheap materials * messy workmanship had the zipper been of decent quality, I probably wouldn't have looked as closely as I did and would be cursing how quickly it all fell apart. in hindsight, it saved me some effort, as I was able to return, but it also turned me off forever on the brand. a quality zipper matters, and if you don't have one, what else was skimped on?
