Puts the ball back on their court and kinda puts them on the spot for not doing due diligence without coming off too passive aggressive. On occasion, I had to also explicitly spell out "please include error messages, expected and actual behaviors, repro steps, what have you tried, etc" as a response to a question in slack chat. Some people just lack self-awareness.
