> Our results show that our system can in real-time adapt its frequency band and achieve bit rates of 100 bps to 1.8 kbps and a range of 30 m. By using a lower bit rate of 10-20 bps, we can further increase the range to 100 m.
Is it audible? Would love to hear just a sample of the audio if so.
- ale42 4y agoI guess it would sound like a old telephone modem ;-)
- alexjm 4y agoThere's a video with sound in their GitHub repository's README. It sounds sort of like three short bursts of sound, with the second one warbling between a couple pitches. https://github.com/uw-x/watercomms https://github.com/uw-x/watercomms Direct video link: https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/174899/173208820-45f29503-06ed-47e7-bb95-b444bfa6cda5.mp4 https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/174899/173208820-4...
