As a European, I want this tumor at our doorstep excised. We fooled ourselves into believing trade would magically bring Russia in line; absolutely nothing bears this out. Russian rulers have been a horrible influence on humans in our continent for centuries (remember, Russians have to live there largely in squalor every day for as long as the country exists). I do hope future generations don't suffer the consequences of our need for 'peace' (a more factual description would be self-delusion). Actual peace means an excision like we did with Nazi rule. There can be no trace left, or else it'll keep festering for more centuries still.
