Seems like KF is not an isolated incident but a trend which has been established for some years now

The thing about KF is that it does violate their regulations: > including content that discloses sensitive personal information It must be a case of somebody knowing somebody, or somebody high up being a member of KF.

  As others have stated for that's their ToS for hosting, not DDoS protection
