Yeah, I am surprised to still see posts from this total crank on HN.
Also worth noting: IIRC the dude is/was involved in a startup that was directly related / competing with other blockchain tech [1][2]

- aaaaaaaaata 4y agoYou haven't noticed the anti decentralized sentiment here?
- sph 4y agoHN has attracted a lot of the anti-crypto luddites. Any comment that is minimally positive or even neutral towards any form of crypto-currency is downvoted, and knee jerk reactions like "I hope crypto dies!" are promoted to the top. It's an echo chamber that forces anyone without a strong opinion to pick a side, thus virally creating even more paranoia. Do you prefer indiscriminate polluting Ponzi schemes or world peace utopia if we could just ban crypto with extreme prejudice? Sadly, this is the situation for anyone that doesn't want to pick a side. The choice is either bullshit snake oil vendors (mostly found on Twitter), or extreme irrational hate (mostly found on this forum). I have no idea where to have a decent conversation about the pros and cons of the technology itself.
