I grew up in San Jose without AC. But it didn't regularly hit the 90s in the summer, it was a dry heat, and we had cool nights.
I used a fan. On especially hot days I would have a bowl of water with a wash rag to help cool me down.
- r00fus 4y agoOnce I went camping in 95+ weather (tent gets hot!) and we would do things like wear wet clothing and occasionally wet our hats to cool off. Amazing how much wet underwear cools you down!
