it's pretty clear that AI tools will be able to, for example, build CRUD apps in the not too distant future LOL I remember when text-based programming was supposed to be obsolete "in the near future" because everything would just be drawing arrows between Javabeans. That was 20 years ago... Even in the most hyper-optimistic scenario, understanding how to translate user requirements into instructions for the AI - and understanding how to verify that what comes out actually does what was requested - are going to be valuable skills.
