Snap will lay off 20% of staff, report says
- dangus 4y agoLayoffs "will affect certain departments including hardware and developer products." This is a fun reminder to me that Snap still has a hardware department that is on its fourth iteration of glasses, this time with a display and AR capabilities. Apparently the AR is used to do...something? I dunno, the examples shown on the marketing pages don't show much of a value proposition to me.
